Hello readers, current and otherwise!
To my surprise – and perhaps yours – I have found ideas and written articles for 91 Challenges so far. Seven seasons of blogging, well in excess of my original one-year goal. How long can I keep this up?
Not much longer, as it happens. As much as I’ve enjoyed The Challenge, it is a good thing which must come to an end. For one reason, I need my time back for something that earns income, whether that’s a different writing project or a day job. For another reason, I’m starting to run low on ideas.
I’ll choose a nice, neat finish line: either 100 Challenges or a full two-year run of 104 articles, depending on inspiration’s gifts and time’s demands. Afterward, you’ll see a tidy summary page indexing all the Challenges in order. I might even create a repost schedule to keep the blog active.
OR, you might see a link to The Challenge: The Book. For some time now, I’ve considered writing more essays about Active Ethics, the basic principle behind this blog. It occurs to me that such an essay would make a good introduction to a book full of Challenges; say, one year’s worth, the best 52 of the lot? Much depends on a publisher’s interest or my funds for investing in self-publication, but I have the pitch all ready for delivery.
More updates upon conclusion. For now, here’s the list of the most recent 13 Challenges:

Challenge 80 – Be significantly silent.
